Onalabs cierra una ronda de 9,3 millones

The round, led by the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT), will accelerate the commercial rollout of ONASPORT and the clinical validation of ONAVITAL.

Onalabs has closed a €9.3 million investment round, strengthening the company’s financial position and accelerating the commercial rollout of its business lines.

The round is backed by the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT), which is investing €4.6 million through the Next Tech facility, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Next Generation EU funds). The round also includes 1921 Ventures, an Austrian fund specialising in diabetes, Singapore-based fund nPrime, and strategic partners Reig Patrimonia and WA4STEAM.

The capital raised will be used to accelerate the industrialisation of ONASPORT, which is already in the commercial phase, advance the clinical and regulatory validation of ONAVITAL, and further develop the company’s diabetes-related business line. Onalabs currently has a team of 30 people and a portfolio of 6 patents.

“This round represents much more than an injection of capital: it is recognition of years of research, development and validation, as well as the confidence of a group of investors who share our vision for the future of health.”
— Elisabet del Valle, co-founder and CEO of Onalabs.
