World Diabetes Day – Looking Beyond Glucose
Every November 14th, the global community comes together to recognize World Diabetes Day—an opportunity to focus on transforming the lives of millions of people living
Last week, Genís Rabost, one of our engineers, traveled to Lausanne to attend the Swiss Sweat Science and Technology Symposium, the first international symposium for researchers in human sweat physiology, sweat detection technologies, and applications in sports performance and biomedicine.
There, we presented the results obtained in the MONCLAS project on the bioequivalence of lactate between blood and sweat, funded by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism, coordinated by Indescat, and in collaboration with CAR de Sant Cugat and INEFC.
And we were awarded the Best Scientific Poster Award!
So, from here, we want to congratulate Genís and the entire Onalabs team, Valeria Colmena, Jaime Punter, Xavi Muñoz, as well as the doctors and researchers Daniel Brotons, Victòria Pons, Josep Escoda, Josep Padullés, Jasmina Casals, and Pere Miribel-Català.
